Our future?
The challenge
The GEM programme has now finished but GL Communities have now started an Employment Support Hub Outreach , sponsored by Gloucestershire County Council.
GL Communities is the district partner of the Employment and Skill Hub Outreach project, which aims to bridge the gap between the GEM Project and access to further funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
ESHO will provide intensive 1:1 support to individuals who are economically inactive and help them return to volunteering, education, training, or employment.
We also cover BAME within Gloucestershire, (Black, Asian, and other Minority Ethnic) and specialise the needs and priorities from all backgrounds to help apply for their jobs. We work with organisations across Gloucestershire which promote values of inclusivity and diversity in the workplaces.

Your future?
The Criteria
ESHO: “Economic inactivity means that people (aged 16-64) are not involved in the labour market – they are neither working or actively seeking employment. Economic inactivity includes the long-term sick claiming benefits, students, early retirees, and individuals who do not claim any state benefit”.
