Participants at the Phoenix Centre are encouraged to take part in making decsions about what happens at the Phoenix Centre and our Peer Facilitators help to shape ideas for activities including;

  • art workshops
  • creative writing
  • gardening
  • computing
  • music
  • jewellery making
  • confidence building
  • bingo


To name but a few activities we have offered following feedback from users.

Participants also decide the Friday lunch menu which includes dinner and pudding, there is a small charge for this meal of £3.50 each week.

The activities are designed for independent individuals however we do embrace people with support workers too on the understanding that support workers help the participants take part in suitable activities.

The charge per session is £3.00 Morning or Afternoon or £5.00 a day

Cooked lunch is an added £3.50

Please note! We are planning to have Music Sessions so changes to Art activities could take place to for the Music Sessions.

We are open to all however if Support Workers are needed to accompany customers they must help and support customers with activities – we can offer short bits of one to one help only. Please consider the suitability of activities for those needing high support.
