Well-Being & Social Inclusion

The Phoenix Centre

ActivitiesThe Phoenix Centre is a great environment for people who are more vulnerable than others in our community these include; customers with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues.

Mette Clay PotsAt the Phoenix Centre we offer a safe space where people can come together and enjoy activities designed to socialise, build skills and inspire new ideas as well as promoting confidence and a creative outlet. We aspire to develop and enhance the experience of our participants while promoting growth and participation.

Clay PotsThe activities are designed for independent individuals however, we do embrace participants with support workers on the understanding that support workers help participants take part.

The Phoenix Centre is led by employed staff and supported by our valuable volunteers who bring a variety of skills and interests. Both staff and volunteers promote confidence, inclusion and cohesion with all its members. Staff and volunteers are also committed to equal opportunities for all.
